Uh, interferometers, uh, combine light waves collected from the same source.
Um, a star, for instance, and the–
the waves form an interference pattern as they add together, or cancel out, add together, cancel out.
It’s what we call constructive interference, or destructive interference so that the light from two or more telescopes can produce, um, uh, a brighter image than one alone.
Um–
But sometimes it’s best
just to look up at the night sky.
