A couple of my favorite pictures of her. A nice mix of pretty and lady and girly and sexy and rugged-y. And her hair ♥.
I saw a pretty girl over the weekend with pretty hair and a blue checkered shirt on. She kinda looked like Rose in this picture, but with a more buttoned top. ^_^
Hello, I am here to interrupt regular posting with an intentional super spam of Rose Byrne. This is because she is one of my favorites and I adore her so but I’ve never even posted a single thing about her since I started tumblr. Plus, I’ve just found out about an updating Rose Byrne blog. ^_^

Frida Gustavsson - Vagabond Paris SS10
So I just got directed to this video and of course Frida is just absolutely gorgeous. I’m a fashion ignoramus though, despite my posting a ton of fashion stuff, so I was wondering the whole time about what band this music video was for and all that so the huge “VAGABOND shoes” thing at the end kind of threw me off and made the ending of the video a slight bummer, like, ooooooohhhhh so that’s what all those shoe shots were for. Anyway, the song is nice and I kind of want to know what the lyrics say; I knew failing French would backfire on me more than once.

I love this photo. I’m sorry, I meant I LOVE this photo. And I just don’t think it’s pretty, I think it’s pretty hot.
There’s just so much going on here. First, the ridiculous plank-slash-out-of-place-diving-board that’s just a little bit too high for her forcing her to tip-toe. Speaking of which, tiptoed left foot with the short heels which could have been conceivably long enough in another shoe to fully support. Then the the raised right leg with the heel being held up by two fingers, forming a triangle with the her bunched up legs wrapped in the softly folding silk. This then leading up to her slightly bent torso and along the length of her arm towards her slightly tilted forward shoulder. This forward ‘motion’ is then mimicked in the way her hair has fallen on her face, which then gives her this hidden secretive look from behind her curtain of locks, adding an air of mystery. Finally, the delicate way her other hand is by her cheek and hair, as if supporting one and adjusting the other.
The photo just has this great feel of a sense of precariousness and the poise to keep it all together. I can appreciate the gracefulness because there is a portrayal of an antagonizing factor. The form and the balance together with the dress and its fit, and then that pretty face and the slight mysterious element to her look, it just all does it for me. Not to mention how that haze of background colors lets the solidity [-ness?] of her figure really pop out, and then how the bright red just helps accent all the lighter tones. I just love it, great picture. I just wish there was a bigger version of it.
